Stéphanie Jolin,
Clinical Psychology

    Stéphanie is an Intern in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She works under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Hopton. She provides evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to children and adolescents in English and French. Stéphanie has received training with children and youth in hospital, school board, and community-based settings in Ottawa. Her focus at OCFR is work with children and youth who experience anxiety, mood difficulties, ADHD, disruptive behaviours, attachment difficulties, and developmental trauma or adverse experiences. She also has training in offering parenting interventions and believes in the importance of involving the whole family system to support the child.

    Stéphanie’s approach to therapy represents an integration of different research-informed therapeutic approaches. Her practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and the systemic framework. She is committed to adapting her approach to meet her clients’ unique needs and challenges in a kind and collaborative manner.
