Dr. Bourgon is a registered psychologist with competency in both forensic and clinical psychology with adolescents and adults. Dr. Bourgon has over 25 years of experience providing consultation, assessment, and therapy to children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare and criminal justice systems related to delinquency, substance abuse and aggression, child protection issues, adoption, family finding, kinship, foster care, trauma, and attachment. He has widely published research related to working with youth involved in the criminal justice system. He is known for working closely with stakeholders and community-based service providers to ensure youth are provided with the highest possible quality of appropriate services.
