Regardless of where children are adopted from, or how old they are at the time of adoption, they come to their adoptive families with brains that have been affected by their prior experiences. The good news is that children’s brains can be rewired by the provision of new, positive experiences of healthy caregiving and connection. We aim to provide psycho-education and support to adoptive parents faced with this critical work, as well as to the child/ youth building new brain networks and working towards new possibilities in life.
